100% Donation Policy

A charity policy where 100% of public donations go directly to beneficiaries, with admin costs covered separately.

A 100% Donation Policy means that every single penny of your Zakat, Sadaqah, and other charitable donations goes directly to beneficiaries. Not a single pence is taken for administration, staff salaries, marketing, or operational costs.

How Is This Possible?

A common and valid question: if 100% goes to beneficiaries, how does the charity operate? The answer:

  • Separate administrative fund — A dedicated pool of institutional donors and major sponsors specifically covers operational costs
  • Institutional grants — Foundations and grant-making bodies fund organisational overheads
  • Corporate partnerships — Businesses sponsor specific operational expenses as part of their CSR programmes
  • Dedicated supporters — A small number of donors specifically choose to contribute to the admin fund

This means two separate financial streams exist: one for beneficiaries (your donations) and one for operations (institutional funding).

Why Does It Matter?

Many charities take 15-30% of donations for administrative costs. On a £100 Zakat payment, that could mean only £70-£85 actually reaches those in need. With our 100% policy, your full £100 goes to beneficiaries.

Over a lifetime of giving, the difference is enormous. A donor who gives £1,000 per year for 30 years contributes £30,000. With a 100% policy, all £30,000 reaches beneficiaries. With a 25% overhead charity, only £22,500 does — a loss of £7,500.

Especially Important for Zakat

For Zakat specifically, many scholars emphasise that the full amount must reach eligible recipients. Using a charity with high administrative deductions means your Zakat obligation may not be fully met. Our 100% policy gives you complete confidence.

Independent Verification

Our 100% donation policy is independently verified. We are registered with the Charity Commission (No. 1158317) and publish full annual accounts showing exactly how funds are allocated.
