How Is This Possible?
A common and valid question: if 100% goes to beneficiaries, how does the charity operate? The answer:
- Separate administrative fund — A dedicated pool of institutional donors and major sponsors specifically covers operational costs
- Institutional grants — Foundations and grant-making bodies fund organisational overheads
- Corporate partnerships — Businesses sponsor specific operational expenses as part of their CSR programmes
- Dedicated supporters — A small number of donors specifically choose to contribute to the admin fund
This means two separate financial streams exist: one for beneficiaries (your donations) and one for operations (institutional funding).
Why Does It Matter?
