ARRANGE YOUR SACRIFICE
Your intention. Their next meal.
Four quick steps. You can change your choices before checkout.
A MEANINGFUL ACT OF GIVING
A blessing for you.
A meal for someone else.
Aqiqah is traditionally performed following the birth of a child. A voluntary animal sacrifice is another way to give Sadaqah or express gratitude, while helping families receive nourishing food.
The animal is arranged in your chosen location and its meat shared with people in need. Your donation connects a personal intention with practical help for a household.

Our team arranges it

What is Aqiqah?
Aqiqah is an animal sacrifice associated with the birth of a child in the Sunnah. You can arrange an Aqiqah through Muslims In Need and choose where its meat is distributed.
What is the difference between Aqiqah and voluntary animal sacrifice?
Both arrange an animal sacrifice and distribution of meat. Aqiqah is connected to the birth of a child; voluntary sacrifice is an act of Sadaqah or gratitude. You choose the intention in the form.
How many animals can I arrange?
Choose the number of animals you would like to arrange. If you need guidance about religious requirements for your circumstances, please consult a trusted scholar.
Can I arrange a sacrifice on behalf of someone?
Yes. You can enter their name in the optional Sacrifice on behalf of field. You do not have to provide a child's name or gender in this form.
Why do prices vary by country?
Costs differ by location. Your selected country shows its current price per animal before you add it to your donation.
Can I contribute less than the price of an animal?
Yes. Choose a flexible contribution towards the sacrifice programme in your preferred location. This supports the programme but does not reserve an entire animal or complete an Aqiqah on its own.
Can I add a food pack?
Yes. After selecting an animal, you can optionally add a separate family food pack in the same location. Its price is shown before payment, and it is not included in the price of an animal.
Can I choose a sacrifice date?
You can request a preferred date. It is not guaranteed, and the local team will arrange the sacrifice according to availability.
Can I pay by bank transfer or add Gift Aid?
Yes. Use Pay by bank for transfer details and contact the team to specify your choices. Eligible UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid at online checkout or use our Gift Aid declaration for bank transfers.
Is this Eid Qurbani or a Zakat payment?
No. This form is for Aqiqah and voluntary animal sacrifice. Eid Qurbani, Zakat and vow-related sacrifices may have different requirements, so please contact our team about those separately.
