Your Impact So Far
Together we have changed thousands of lives across Yemen and Syria
Why Sponsor an Orphan This Ramadan?
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be like these two in Paradise," and he gestured with his index and middle fingers held together (Sahih al-Bukhari). Orphan sponsorship is one of the most rewarding acts of charity in Islam, and Ramadan is the ideal time to begin or renew this commitment. Your sponsorship provides a child with education, nutritious food, healthcare and emotional support throughout the year.
About Dar Al Khair Homes
The Dar Al Khair (House of Goodness) programme builds permanent, weather-resistant homes for widows and orphan families who have lost everything to conflict and displacement. Each home is constructed to local standards using durable materials and is handed over fully furnished with beds, kitchen essentials and sanitation facilities. In Yemen, a home costs £2,500 to build, while in Syria the cost is £3,500 due to differences in material and labour pricing. Every home is a Sadaqah Jariyah, providing ongoing reward as the family benefits for years to come.
Ramadan Food Packs: Feeding Families Worldwide
Each £30 food pack contains enough staple items to feed a family of five for the entire month of Ramadan. Packs typically include rice, flour, cooking oil, lentils, sugar, tea and dates. Our teams distribute these packs Hand2Hand directly to families in Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sudan and Afghanistan, ensuring that no intermediary takes a cut and that 100% of your donation reaches those who need it most.
Muslims In Need is a UK registered charity (No. 1158317) committed to a 100% donation policy. All administrative and operational costs are covered by institutional funding, meaning every penny of your Yateem Night donation goes directly to the beneficiary. Our Hand2Hand delivery model ensures full transparency, with photo and video evidence provided for major projects including home builds and orphan sponsorship.
