It means every single penny you donate goes directly to those in need. Our administrative and operational costs are covered by a separate fund of dedicated supporters and sponsors, not from your Zakat or Sadaqah donations.
Can I give my Zakat (Cash Distribution) through your charity?+
Yes, our Zakat project distributes cash directly to verified eligible recipients. We carefully identify those who fall into the categories specified in the Quran. We work with local scholars and community leaders to ensure your Zakat reaches those who are legitimately entitled to receive it.
How do you deliver aid to conflict zones like Gaza?+
We work with established local partners who have maintained operations throughout the crisis. Our Hand2Hand delivery model means we physically deliver aid directly to families, documenting each delivery with photos and reports.
What is Gift Aid and how does it work?+
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax you have paid on your donation. For every £1 you donate, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC at no cost to you. Simply tick the Gift Aid box when donating if you are a UK taxpayer.
Can I donate on behalf of someone else?+
Yes! You can donate as a gift on behalf of a loved one, either living or deceased. Many people donate Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of deceased family members. Simply select the Gift option during checkout and enter their name.
When is Ramadan 2026?+
Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin on or around Tuesday 17th February 2026, depending on moon sighting. Eid ul-Fitr is expected around Thursday 19th March 2026.
How do I calculate my Zakat?+
Zakat is 2.5% of your wealth above the Nisab threshold (currently around £4,500 based on silver value). Add up all your savings, investments, gold, silver, and money owed to you. Subtract any debts. If the total exceeds Nisab and you have held it for a lunar year, pay 2.5% as Zakat.
What is the difference between Fidya and Kaffarah?+
Fidya is paid by those who cannot fast due to chronic illness, old age, or pregnancy. Kaffarah is expiation for deliberately breaking a fast without valid excuse - requiring fasting for 60 consecutive days or feeding 60 poor people.
Are my donations secure?+
