About Africa (Various)
Across East and West Africa, Muslim communities face a combination of poverty, limited infrastructure, lack of access to clean water, and insufficient Islamic educational facilities. In countries including Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and various West African nations, rural Muslim communities often lack proper mosques, forcing families to pray in open fields or under trees. Clean water access remains a critical challenge, with millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa walking hours daily to reach unsafe water sources. Waterborne diseases are a leading cause of child mortality. Agricultural communities are vulnerable to climate change, with erratic rainfall patterns causing crop failures and food insecurity. Many Muslim-majority areas lack madrasahs and educational resources, limiting children's access to both secular and Islamic education. Our regional partners across East and West Africa implement comprehensive programmes including water well construction, mosque building, Quran distribution, food pack delivery during Ramadan, and community development initiatives that provide lasting benefit through Sadaqah Jariyah projects.
How We Deliver Aid
Implementation through regional partners across East and West Africa. Projects include water wells, masjid construction, and Quran distribution.
Why Africa Needs Your Help
The humanitarian situation in Africa requires sustained support from the global Muslim community. Your donations — whether Zakat, Sadaqah, or Sadaqah Jariyah — are distributed directly to verified beneficiaries through our Hand2Hand delivery model. Every delivery is documented with photographic evidence.
During Ramadan, the need intensifies as families struggle to provide iftar meals and maintain basic nutrition. Your contribution during this blessed month earns multiplied rewards while providing critical support to those who need it most.
The new masjid has transformed our community. We can finally pray together as one.
