About Pakistan
Pakistan faces recurring natural disasters including devastating monsoon floods, alongside persistent poverty in rural areas that leaves millions without access to clean water, adequate food, and basic healthcare. The 2022 floods alone displaced over 33 million people, destroying 1.7 million homes and submerging a third of the country. While some recovery has occurred, millions still live in temporary shelters and face contaminated water supplies. Rural communities in Sindh, Balochistan, and southern Punjab are particularly vulnerable, with high rates of malnutrition among children and limited access to education. The Tharparkar desert region faces chronic drought, while flood-prone areas face the opposite extreme. Pakistan also hosts over 1.4 million Afghan refugees, many living in camps with minimal services. Our well-established partner network across Sindh, Punjab, and KPK enables efficient distribution of food packs, construction of water wells and homes, and delivery of Zakat cash to verified eligible families in both flood-affected and chronically impoverished communities.
Delivery Method: Our well-established partner network in Pakistan allows for efficient distribution across Sindh, Punjab, and KPK. We prioritize flood-affected and rural communities.
Why This Matters
For just £1 per meal, you can provide a hot, nutritious iftar meal to someone breaking their fast. Many families in crisis zones cannot afford even basic food during Ramadan — your donation ensures they break their fast with a warm, filling meal.
Our iftar meals are prepared by local community kitchens and delivered to families, mosques, and gathering points where people break their fast together. Each meal typically includes rice, meat or chicken, vegetables, bread, dates, and water.
Why Iftar Meals Matter
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person." By providing iftar meals, you earn the same reward as every person who breaks their fast with your food — multiplied across hundreds of meals.
- £1 = 1 hot iftar meal
- £30 = iftar for one person for the entire month
- £150 = iftar for a family of 5 for the entire month
The drought destroyed our crops. This food pack kept my family of seven fed for the entire month.
