Eid Gifts
A Gift of Joy:
Celebrate the Youngest Fasters This Eid
"Give gifts and you will love one another."
(Bukhari)
For Muslim families, Ramadan is a month of devotion, sacrifice, and togetherness. Children eagerly join in, waking up for suhoor, fasting with their elders, and experiencing the joy of iftar.
But for children in poverty and crisis, Ramadan is not just about fasting—it’s a daily struggle. They need to be rewarded and celebrated, for persevering despite the challenges we can’t even begin to imagine.
After a month of sacrifice, an Eid gift will bring them joy, reminding them that they are not forgotten. Every Eid, Muslims in Need distributes hundreds of gifts to orphans and children in destitute families.
Your donation gives a poor child a new outfit, a toy, and sweets to celebrate Eid. A small gesture that rewards them and says, “You are loved.”
This Eid, put a smile on the faces of our youngest fasters by sponsoring an Eid Gift for £20. How many children will you treat this Eid?

Ali’s First Ever Eid Gift
Ali, a 9-year-old orphan from Nangarhar, Afghanistan, lost his parents during the conflict and now lives with his uncle, Mohammad. Mohammad is a farmer struggling to support his own family of six does his best, but Ali often goes without the basics.
The situation is challenging, with few resources for orphans or the impoverished families that take them in.
Last Eid, thanks to generous donors, Ali received his first-ever Eid gift—a new set of clothes, a soccer ball, and a bag of sweets. His eyes lit up with happiness, and for the first time in years, he felt just like a child should.
